Forms of collaboration

Is your company facing a specific problem in relation to your use of embedded software – e.g. in connection with an optimisation of the embedded software in your production systems or products – or do your developers need a competence boost? Do you want to be in the lead and have access to the newest research within the field? Do you have a need for new knowledge concerning a specific area within embedded software but do not quite know how to achieve it?

- Collaboration with CISS is the answer!

CISS is Denmark’s leading research environment within the field of embedded software systems, and we offer companies collaboration within a wide range of categories, depending on the individual company’s needs and wishes:

  •       CISS’ 3-year PhD programme in which a young researcher works with a focus on an industrial project based on the current challenges that the company faces.
  •      CISS VIP – Væksthus for Indlejrede Produkter, in which we offer research on a consultancy basis, in other words: competency development within embedded software systems, focused upon the individual company’s needs in terms of maturation and innovation of products.
  •      Courses, where CISS adapt a course or study programme according to your company’s needs in terms of duration and content. In addition, CISS continuously offer courses through CPD-Aalborg – Continuing Professional Development at AAU.
  •      Student projects at many levels – where a group of electronics systems or engineering students work on a project based fully on a problem which the company has experienced.

If you are interested in entering a collaboration programme with CISS, please feel free to contact us by phone at +45 99 40 72 20 or by e-mail: cissinfo@ciss.dk

The wireless crop sprayer
Imagine that you're an agricultural contractor and would like to know where all your machines are at any given moment and what they are doing. Or that you're a farmer sitting at home in front of your computer, wanting to plan tomorrow's field spraying - and send the spraying schedule back to the tractor's 'computer'.
